Actor / Singer / Theatre Artist
Hayley Sanz is an actor, singer, and theatre artist currently residing in Orlando, Florida.
As an actor, she has worked at Athens Theatre, Shoestring Theatre, and Titusville Playhouse. Hayley has appeared as Little Red in Into The Woods, Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Winnie in Annie Get Your Gun, and Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker, among others. As a vocalist, she has had over five years of private voice training. In 2016, Hayley received first place in the Lower High School Musical Theatre category at the National Association of Teachers of Singing competition (southeastern region). As a theatre artist, Hayley is passionate about sharing her love of the arts with younger generations, and has worked with the Athens Youth Theatre Academy for over five years. She first started as an assistant making props and costume pieces for youth productions, and has since become a teaching artist. Hayley is looking forward to teaching with them again this summer.
She is currently a student at the University of Central Florida in her junior year (graduation Spring 2022) with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Cinema Studies. Hayley was recently in Theatre UCF’s productions of Songs of Inspiration and Much Ado About Nothing.
In her spare time, she enjoys playing the ukulele, reading and writing poetry, playing Dungeons and Dragons with her friends, and listening to comedy albums (seriously, don’t get her started on John Mulaney). In addition, Hayley is an avid home cook and baker, and she loves sharing her culinary creations with her friends and family. She also loves to knit, and has many blankets to show for it.
